Located centrally between Boston to the east, Springfield to the West, and Providence to the South Worcester is simply at the heart of it all. With an estimated population around 185,000, it is the perfect place to get a city feel while still maintaining the hometown charm. It is home to plenty of attractions including the ECHL’s Worcester Railers, a professional hockey team. The Boston Red Sox’s AAA team also has a planned move into the area. Educational institutions are plentiful including Becker College, Holy Cross, WPI, Clark University, and others.
If you are looking for something to do there is no better place to look than the DCU Center! The arena is home to the ECHL’s Worcester Railers since 2017 and was the previous home of AHL franchises. The arena also doubles as a concert venue playing host to artists such as Luke Combs, Cole Swindell, and Green Day.
